Our winter opening hours are Wednesday to Sunday 10am to 4pm. The car park gates close at 4.30pm.

Meet the Animals

Meet our farm family
Join us on the farm where you will let you meet some of our animals. These are drop-in sessions for you to pop over to when you are playing on the farm. The animal chosen for each session varies and they may be in the petting pen as you enter the farm or at their paddock for some of the bigger animals.
Our staff will also be on hand to answer any questions you have about our furry friends.
February – Saturday 14th – Guinea Pigs
March – Sunday 15th – Ferrets
April – Various sessions throughout the school holidays
May – Saturday 16th – Donkeys
June -Sunday 14th – Tortoise
July/August – Various sessions throughout the school holidays
September -Saturday 12th – Kune Kune Pigs
October – Various sessions throughout the school holidays
November -Sunday 15th – Guinea Pigs
December – As the weather can be unpredictable, we don’t have our animals out to stand in the cold and wet weather. If you see any of our staff or volunteers on the farm, please do ask if you would like to say hello to one of our animals when you visit.
Event start time: Monthly sessions are held between 11am and 12pm on the dates provided.                                                          During the school holidays we hold daily sessions and times vary.
Location: On our visitor farm either in the petting pen or at a larger animal’s paddock.
Duration: 1 hour (this is a drop-in session)
