We are open 7 days a week, 10am to 4pm. The car park gates close at 4.30pm. 
No circular route around the farm area at the moment. Ground is slippy, muddy and soft underfoot. Suitable footwear is strongly advised.

Celebrating through the whole year.

Join in the celebrations throughout the year and into next. We start with our birthday bash on the 7th April at our Tipi for the whole community.
April – Birthday Bash at the Tipi – Staff will be spending the day at the Tipi and everyone is welcome to join us. We will have party games for everyone to enjoy. Throughout the day we will have visits from our animals and a couple of sessions around the fire to toast marshmallows. For those of you who are lucky enough to have dropped in around cake cutting time, we will have 50 free cupcakes to give away first come, first served. 
May – We are welcoming local organisations to Murton to spend a little time with us. While we are reaching out to some, if you think your organisation would like to know more about Murton and get to know what we can offer our community, get in touch. You are welcome to join us so we can all get to know each other. Hopefully we can strengthen what is on offer to our whole community.
June – Our official birthday. We have plans in the making, more details to follow.
July – A day in nature. Join us throughout the day for some exploring our nature resreve. Fun for all the family. We will have little drop-in sessions and self led activities.
August – Hidden Object Trail. As it is our 25th Anniversary we will have a special themed hidden object trail on our reserve. As it is still the school holidays it will be the perfect way to run off some energy with the kids.
September – Art month. More plans in the making for our whole community to join in the fun. More info to follow.
November – Planting our future. We will be planting trees this month to support our ever changing nature reserve but also mark our 25th year with one or two special editions to our site. 
December – We are on the road! We don’t often venture far from Murton as we love our site but we will be heading out to visit other organisations for a very special day sharing the magic of Murton.

March ’27 – Look for a book. World book day is Thursday 4th so we will extend celebrations by having a look for a book on the nature reserve for everyone to enjoy some time outdoors while hunting for their next read.
Event start time: Each event will have it’s own start time depending on what we are doing.
Location: Depending on the activities of the month, we may be on the farm, at our tipi or on the nature reserve.
Duration: Many of our celebration events will be drop-in relaxed events for the whole family while others will be ticketed and we will add tickets above closer to the event.
