In line with Government guidelines we have decided to close Murton with immediate effect. Please note that this closure covers our entire site and applies to our tearoom, farm, nature reserve, tots group, volunteering, placements and all group visits. Our website will be kept up to date with any changes – please do keep checking in.
We know that Murton is used by many in our community as more than just a tearoom or leisure site and that our nature reserve and services will be missed by many at a time they are needed more than ever. We will work hard to re-open and offer services in a safe way, when we possibly can. Each area of our work will be reviewed separately and may open or start again at different times. We will aim to communicate clearly and openly throughout the coming weeks.
We will of course welcome your emails and social media messages during this time, however our phone line will not be monitored until further notice.
As a charity, this has been a very difficult decision to make, but made easier knowing that we have always been so wonderfully supported by of our community. We do hope you all keep safe and well and that we are able to all come together again at Murton very soon.
