Santa will be at Murton every weekend during December. We would love to see you here! £6 includes personal time with Santa and a present, entry to the farm and play area, the opportunity to meet some of our friendly animals and the chance to enter our festive competition.
Murton are currently looking for a Fundraiser to join our dedicated team.
Based in our office just outside Forfar, you will be responsible for all aspects of fundraising for the charity. Work will be varied and flexible and will include writing applications to Grant Giving Trusts, maintaining records, writing reports and organising events. You must be confident, flexible, an excellent communicator and show determination to achieve ambitious targets.

On Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th October you will be able to meet our donkeys and ferrets on the farm.
The animals will be visiting the petting pen at the times stated below. Under staff supervision you will be able to get close to these mischievous and characterful animals. There is no additional cost to this activity. Normal farm entry rates apply.
Meet the ferrets on the farm 10.30am – 11.30am
Meet the donkeys on the farm 2pm – 3pm
Friday 30th October – 6.00pm to 7.30pm
£5 per child. Suitable for Pre-School and Primary School Children
Come and join us for a fun evening to celebrate Halloween. Family fun games will include Gruesome Jelly Goo, Dookin’ for Apples, Dangerous Dangling Doughnuts and Make your Mummy a Mummy. The best dressed will win a prize but remember to be warm as activities will take place outside. A juice and creepy cupcake is included in the entry price. Stovies and additional cakes and treats are available for adults and children to purchase on the night.
Limited places are available so must be booked in advance and paid by Monday 26th October.

This year our ferrets had a number of babies. We have 1 male and 3 female ferrets. We would be delighted if you would help us choose their names. They are all lively and inquisitive little animals and all polecat coloured.

If your suggestion of a name is selected you will win your named ferret’s sponsorship for the year. Winners will be selected on Friday 25th September. We look forward to hearing from you!
